I think it’s a big assumption that most kids by the time they are in their teens have gone to Disneyland. Not me, growing up our Summers were spent in Greece. But being Greek that’s not all that uncommon having family and houses there it was our yearly vacation. While most kids were heading to Disneyland in California I was half way around the world.

My sister was out in Los Angeles a few months ago looking for an apartment. She finally moved out there and when I went to visit the first thing we did was get disneyland tickets. Being from the East coast it’s a big change just being in California but Disneyland is a whole different type of amusement park or vacation in itself.

We had such a great time and i’m a little sad our parents hadn’t taken us as kids. I know one ting is for sure, that when I have kids i’ll be taking them to Disneyland as soon as they’re old enough to walk on their own and appreciate the rides and shows. Considering we all watch Disney movies growing up it’ only make sense to go to one of the best amusement parks in the world.

I do not know what I would have done without ADT La Cienga. When we first moved to New Mexico, security systems were the last thing on my mind. All I could think about was packing bags, boxes and getting rid of things we would not need. We were moving from a larger house to a smaller, more modern house, so we definitely had to get rid of a few things. Once all of those things were out of the way and we spent a week or two in the house, I realized I actually did not feel as safe in the new home. There was no particular reason I could attribute my feelings to. I just often felt like something was not right. It kept me up at night sometimes, which is not ideal when you have a little one like we do! I told my husband about it and he thought I was being a bit silly. I would have to agree with him, but I still was not sleeping at night. Finally, we decided we should get a better security system than a few locks and dead bolts. Every since we had the security system set up, I have slept so well.

Living in New York the most common place I hear of people taking cruises is down to the Caribbean which to me is no different than flying down to Florida. If i’m going on a cruise I’d like to make it into a vacation instead of a short getaway so I just started looking at Galapagos Cruises I never even knew where the islands were until I look them up. So having to head to the west cost to go on the cruise is a big vacation in my opinion.

We’re booking a Galapagos Cruise that is a little over a week, other than looking up where the islands were and how to get to the Galapagos Cruise Ship i’m going to leave everything else up to my wife to surprise me with the trip she’s planning. We’ve been on cruises all over the world and this is the first time we’ll be in the pacific off of central america.

Winter was pretty mild but the chilly weather has settled back in for a few more weeks so this will be a nice vacation just before the summer. While people are heading to FL like most other NY’ers were heading to the Galapagos!
